Our roving reporter has been missing in action the previous two weekends.
This weekend was a tough one on the pitch for the ladies section, with defeats all round. The Ladies 1sts lost to table topping Lansdown 2-1 with a goal from Sophie Pimble, the L2 lost 3-0 to Clifton Robinsons and L3 lost 3-1 to Westberries with Anna Hargity scoring.
The Mens 1sts won 6-0, goals from Jack Colling (4) and one each Rob Gardner and Dan Dudley. The Mens 2nds won 5-1 against Minehead, goals from Josh Ainsworth (2), Will Parker, Ricardo Brei Ferreira & Shaun Huxham.
On Sunday the u12’s had some good results in the Festival at Yate, winning 2 and losing 2 and a young Badgers team came second against a strong Westbury outfit.
At the other end of the age spectrum, Fraser Black and Graham Feboul played for Somerset & Wilts in the over 65s Masters cup in a win against Hampshire & Dorset.
