The league season started yesterday and North had one of their best sets of results of the last few seasons, with 5 wins and only one loss.
The Ladies had a clean sweep of wins. The First team won 4-3 away at Wotton, goals from Sophie, Kittie and a brace from Steph. The Seconds beat local rivals Weston 3-0 with a hat trick from Emma T and the Thirds had a great 7-1 win against Bristol & West Jaspers with two goals apiece from Ella, Molly and Lucy & Rachel getting the other goal.
The Mens 1sts beat South Glos 8-2, Jack contributed 5, Si 2 and Dan 1. The 2nds narrowly lost 4-3 away to Westbury UBs with goals from Shan, Matt and Josh and the 3rds won 2-0 on their very first outing away to Yate with Phil and Arthur getting the goals.
Special mention to Taylor, who despite being very poorly umpired the Ladies 3rds game as the timing of fixtures meant that no other umpires were able to cover for her.
