Another good set of results

PC practice paying off

Another good set of performances this weekend, both first teams maintained their 100% records and the practice time spent on short corners seems to be working come match day.
The Ladies 1sts won 4-1 at home v Cirencester, scorers were Taylor 2, Kittie and Sophie.

Speaking with the Cirencester coach after the game he was full of praise for how well the L1 stayed organised and executed their game plan.

The Ladies 2nds drew 4-4 away v Bristol on a pitch that reportedly was a cross between Weston Super Mare and Chesil Beaches. Two goals from G and one each from Molly and Lucy P. Also on the road were the Ladies 3rds and they drew 1-1 against Knowle, with an early goal from Rachel.

So all three ladies teams remain unbeaten in league games so far in, early days but things looking promising.

There was only one game for the mens’ teams, as the Mens 3rds had a bye weekend leaving the 1st and 2nd team to face off in the first of two league derbies that will occur this season. The Mens 1sts got the bragging rights in the pub with a 4-1 win, but the scoreline is a bit harsh on the 2nds who played very well. Jack continued his hot streak with a hat trick and Corin got the other goal for the 1sts, and Ollie scored for the 2nds.
