Season summary
North Ladies 2’s had a great season this year, the team showed great determination, communication and passion throughout which shone through in all the games played. There were triumphant wins, tough games and nail biting final minutes. Training session were more challenging with the coach Clive pushing the girls to improve with harder skills week on week, and the team spending time together off the pitch everything fell into place. With the most exciting season yet we made it into the top 3 for the first time in years which only gave the girls motivation to work harder and harder in training and games. With this being said North Ladies 2’s finish the season in second place, although guttered to not be able to play the remaining two games they were await news of what could be a promotion into Brunel 2.

The Ladies League subsequently decided to close down the season and points were awared for unplayed games based on average results to date....this meant that our Ladies stayed in second place and got promoted into Brunel 2 for when hockey restarts. Well done Jo, Maddie and the rest of the team!
